On my twenty-first birthday I wrote a letter to myself. It wasn’t my idea, but the idea of a friend. We typed out letters to ourselves on her computer. We sealed the letters in envelops with pictures of ourselves from that same day. On the envelops we wrote the date ten years later that we were to open them on.
