When Things Don’t Go As Planned Look For New Opportunities

No matter how well we plan and how sure we are things will go a certain way, there are always elements of situations that are beyond our control. My family is moving to London. We were supposed to leave today, but because of bad weather in New York and delays we’re still in Florida and spending the night at my parents’ house. We had a nice day at the airport though. Many people mark success by the car they drive and the house they own. People covet the possessions of the rich and famous and think if I had eight Hummers like (insert name of celebrity here) and a multi-million dollar house, I’d be happy. Finding Joy in Serving Others

I didn’t have a reason not to, so I did. I have some anxiety about cooking for people I don’t know. I want to cook something they’ll like. So I called to ask them what they might like to eat and they said, “We’ll eat anything. We’re not picky.” Read more »
