Great reminders. We live in earthquake country (along with fires, mudslides, flooding) and I try to make sure we stay on top of our emergency kits and supplies for the house and cars.

I read your article with great interest. I have found a company that has a “Do No Harm” philosophy. Their products contain no known harmful ingredients, their formulas cause no known harmful interactions, and their active, high-science ingredients come in generous, beneficial quantities. I’m impressed that their products do exactly what they say they will - without outrageous claims. In addition, the products support humanitarian aid. In fact that is the main purpose of the company. I'm real excited about this company. Check it out at www.trivanijoanne.com.

Great advice. A trip to the spa sounds like a great idea. I will be very busy this coming month and should take a little time to unwind

Thanks for the advice. It seems like no matter how hard I try to make my holidays less stressful, something unexpected pops up. For the last several years, I planned to do so many things to have a better holiday. As the seasons approached, health issues or unexpected bills arrive and it makes the typical holiday stress triple. So, this year, in true holiday fashion (at least my typical holiday), I will be moving. I hope to get to our new house the week before Christmas and get it at least decorated and maybe purchase a few presents for the kids (budget willing). Wish me luck!

It's so good that they had that in a mainstream magazine. The problem is that most people don't even realize how much of their food HFCS is in.

Bravo for cutting out sugar. I'm going to write a post about that eventually.
