Enjoying the Process

Start Your Day With Intention

What’s Wrong with Pretending to be Something You’re Not?

This phrase is most commonly used for light-skinned blacks who passed for white, but as the post I read points out, people of a variety of ethnic groups have passed at various times in history. A Letter to Yourself
Written by Lovelyn on March 2, 2009 – 12:06 pm -On my twenty-first birthday I wrote a letter to myself. It wasn’t my idea, but the idea of a friend. We typed out letters to ourselves on her computer. We sealed the letters in envelops with pictures of ourselves from that same day. On the envelops we wrote the date ten years later that we were to open them on. Then we exchanged the letters so that we could mail them to each other on that date. Read more »

Optimism Makes You Healthier

The show covered everything from calorie restriction to human growth hormone injections. There was an extreme and gruesome segment in the show about head transplants.
