The 29-Day Giving Challenge
Written by Lovelyn on October 27, 2008 – 11:41 am -Not too long ago, I was surfing the internet when I stumbled upon an interesting site.
The 29-Day Giving Challenge is a challenge to give something to someone everyday for 29 days. I thought it was a great idea so I joined up. I believe that giving to others is a great way to improve our lives and find happiness.
As I sit here writing this post, I haven’t started the challenge yet. I felt daunted by the idea. As a wife, mother and active member of my church, I give so much already. Do I have anything left to give?
I’ve decided that I would focus on conscious giving. I’m approaching the challenge with more awareness of what I give to others and how it makes me feel and how it helps them. As the challenge progresses, I’m sure my approach to it will change.
I’m starting the challenge today. In 29 days, I’ll post the results. I invite all of you to join the 29-Day Giving Challenge online community and do this challenge with me. Here’s a video that explains a little more about it.

What a fun and fantastic idea this is!
Indeed there is such happiness in giving. A lot of people today are so interested in getting but this great feeling when we get something is so short-lived I find compared to giving something. That I always find is a deeper, and longer-lasting happiness and fulfillment.
It will be great to hear your results! I am going to go over and check out their site now too

What a wonderful idea. Once you’ve been doing it for 29 days, I suspect it will become a habit. We’ll all become more giving people!
