Keep Trying and Have Faith

A few nights ago my husband caught me laying awake worrying.

“What’s wrong with you?” he asked.

My explanation was probably longer than what he expected or wanted to hear at one in the morning, but he asked. So I told him about how worrying this move has been for me. I told him that I was afraid that we’d never be financially stable, that we’d never figure things out. I’m afraid of living on the edge of disaster for the rest of my life.

“You don’t have much faith, do you?” he said. “You have to have faith. You keep trying your best and have faith that it’ll all work out.” That’s what he does, but sometimes I wonder when faith becomes foolishness.

I think the important part in his statement is that we have to keep trying our best. We have to keep trying and moving forward and have faith that our efforts will get us somewhere.
