Ginger and Lemon Tea

It’s still chilly here. That’s been quite an adjustment for me. Since I don’t drink regular tea, I’ve started making this ginger and lemon tea to keep me warm on rainy English days.

Ginger has many health benefits. It is known to decrease nausea, promote circulation, decrease the blood vessel and brain inflammation that causes migraines and promote healthy digestion. Doesn’t knowing all that make you want to drink some ginger tea?

Ingredients

  • 10 slices ginger
  • 2 slices lemon
  • a pot of water

Boil the ginger and lemon in a medium pot of water. After it comes to a boil turn of the stove and let it sit for a few minutes before serving. If you like it sweet add some honey.

I could use a cup sitting in my chilly office right now. Sounds great.
