How to Save Money at the Supermarket

We’re still trying to find our way around the local supermarket. Most of the time I end up asking where things are. When I ask I have to make sure I pronounce things so that I can be understood. Yesterday, I was looking for fresh basil. Apparently, I don’t pronounce that correctly.

Money is tight right now so we have to make sure we’re getting the best deals on everything. We stood infront of the potatoes for five minutes yesterday trying to figure out which ones were the cheapest. (I’m bad at math.) Most groceries are cheaper in the UK than where we lived in the States.

If you’re anything like me, you’re looking to save as much as you can in the supermarket. Robert Mayer of Feeling Right put up a good post recently about that very subject.
