Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is a condition that causes numbness, tingling and pain in the wrists and hands. It is caused by swelling of the tissue that surrounds the median nerve in the wrist.  The median nerve shares a small space with many tendons and can easily become compressed when the tendons swell.

If you have a hands intensive profession you are likely to develop carpal tunnel syndrome. As a massage therapist, I started developing symptoms of CTS when I was still in massage school. By the time I graduated my hands ached pretty badly. Fearful that my career was over before it had begun, I went ahead and started doing the work that I needed to open my own massage business.

As my business grew, so did the pain in my hands. The burning sensation in my palms woke me up in the night. When I went to put gas in my car one day and my grip was too weak to even squeeze the gas pump, I knew I had to do something. I couldn’t sit around doing nothing, letting my hands become slowly crippled.

I started asking other massage therapists about how they took care of their hands. Then I did lots of research about CTS and method used to treat it. I knew I didn’t want to get surgery or even injections to kill the pain. So, I started experimenting with self-massage.

I found stretches to do that worked well for me and I started doing exercises to strengthen my forearm extenors (the muscles that open the hand). All these techniques worked. Before long I was pain free.

That’s why I decided to write Self-Massage for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. I’ve met people who have suffered for with CTS and have gotten surgery to relieve it. About half of those people still have problems with their hands.

I know how frustrating chronic pain can be. You’re not powerless. You can do something about your CTS.

Self-Massage for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome takes you through the steps that I used to cure my CTS. I’m only charing $17 for this ebook because I want it to be affordable for everyone.
